• Discard tape every 2 – 3 months or sooner if it is full of insects.
• Repeat the process as required.
• One tub will cover approximately 12 tree trunks that measure about 30cm in diameter.

To remove sticky from hands
Dip a clean cloth with any standard oil such as coconut oil, eucalyptus oil or vegetable oil and rub the affected area to loosen the goo. Wash with warm water and soap. Mineral spirits can also be used.

Excess Dripping – Only a thin layer is required for Tree Guard to work effectively. Applying more than this may result in product excess dripping. In the instance that more Tree Guard than what is requiredhas been used and has caused excess dripping, you should do the following as soon as you notice it. This method should remove all or most of the goo. Please be aware that if you leave it too long(weeks/months/years) the method below will most likely not work.
1.Dip an old clean cloth in cooking oil and gently rub the affected area. This should loosen the goo.
2.Wash down the affected area with some water and a tiny amount of detergent.
3.Use a child size toothbrush dipped in the detergent mix to gently scrub the goo off. Discard the toothbrush when finished.
